In Lords Mobile the Prison allows you to capture and execute enemy leaders. Upgrading your Prison reduces the time you need to wait to execute a leader.
When an enemy suffers a massive defeat, whether defending a town, or on a resource tile you have a chance to capture their leader. Captured leaders are kept in your prison until you release them, your turf suffers a defeat, you execute them, or they escape.
Whether you can capture a leader, or execute is dependent on your prison level and the enemy’s level. The following applies:-
- At prison level 10 you can capture enemy leaders that have a Castle level of 10 and above.
- At prison level 17 you can execute enemy leaders that have a Castle level of 17 and above.
Once you catch an enemy leader there is a delay before you can execute. The higher the level of the leader, the longer you have to wait. Upgrading your Prison reduces the time you need to wait for an execution by a fixed amount for each level.
If your own leader is captured you can set a gold bounty on the enemy holding your leader. A player, or rally that successfully defeats the enemy will release all the prisoners held and claim the bounty.
At level 25 you also gain attack boosts for your own troops whilst you hold an enemy leader. The higher the level of the leader you hold, the higher the attack boost, maxing out at 30% for holding a level 60 leader.
As well as normal resources, your Prison requires Steel Cuffs to upgrade. A Steel Cuff is found in chests, packs and purchased for gems. The majority will need to be purchased with gems, which makes it a very expensive building to upgrade.
The table below shows the resource cost, time and requirements for each upgrade level. It also shows the reduction in execution time and the might rewarded.
